He\u00a0also voted Man of the Match on 12 occasions.<\/p>\n<h3><b>What is Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year Award ?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year<\/b>, previously known as the\u00a0<b>MUFC Members Player of the Year<\/b>\u00a0(1988\u20131995), is an award presented to the\u00a0Manchester United\u00a0fans&#8217; player of the season. It is named after former Manchester United manager\u00a0Sir Matt Busby, who managed the club in two spells, from 1945 to 1969 and from 1970 to 1971. The award was renamed in his honour in 1996, following his death in 1994, and a new trophy was commissioned \u2013 a scaled-down replica of the statue of Busby at the east end of\u00a0Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Bruno Fernandes<\/strong>\u00a0scored 18 times in 36 Premier League starts. He also claimed nine goals in Europe (Champions League and Europa League). His masterful free-kick winner against Liverpool in the Emirates FA Cup was the best sight for his fans.<\/p>\n<div class=\"home-article-detail__content-panel\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"home-content-panel__details\">\n<div class=\"home-content-panel__details-text\">\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>He has provided 11 assists in the Premier League and a further five in European competition. Bruno also topped many charts for the most creative and productive midfielder around. A few days back, he broke Frank Lampard&#8217;s\u00a0goal record\u00a0for a midfielder in the Premier League era with his latest strike against Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p>During the 2009-10 campaign, Frank Lampard\u2019s eighth season in the Premier League, the Englishman bagged 27 goals for the Blues which helped Chelsea secure a domestic double by winning the Premier League and the FA Cup.
