Mumbai Indians retained four players ahead of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. They bought 21 players in the mega auction to complete their 25-member squad. They retained Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav and Kieron Pollard ahead of the mega auction. The management was successful in winning back a big chunk of their first-choice playing XI from the last couple of years.
