Shikhar Dhawan (460 runs at 122.66) was among the top Indian run-getters in IPL 2022 but still he did not find a place in the T20 World Cup squad. It is quite clear that Dhawan is not in the plans of selectors anymore. He is not considered for selection in the T20 format. Dhawan has always scored runs for the Indian team in ICC tournaments whenever he got the chance. Still, due to the plenty of openers in Indian team, he fails to get a place in the team.

Veteran Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan didnโt get a place in the Indian squad for Asia Cup which was announced BCCI. Some new faces have been give a chance in the squad.
