Portugal coach Roberto Martinez named his 26-man squad for Euro 2024. Cristiano Ronaldo will play his record 6th EURO tournament as he has been selected in the Portugal Squad. Portugal won the title in 2016 and will try to win the European Championship title again this time in order to give a proper farewell to Ronaldo.

After Portugal’s elimination from the quarter finals of FIFA World Cup 2022, it was assumed that Ronaldo will not play for Portugal again. However, the new coach Roberto Martinez cleared the things and said that Ronaldo still has the ability to deliver and he consider him in his future plans.

The 39-year-old Ronaldo will be playing in his sixth straight European Championship.

Portugal are in Group F along with Czech, Turkey and Georgia.
