UEFA Champions League 2021 Semi Final – Who’ll reach the Istanbul final?
The UEFA Champions League semi-finals fixtures have been confirmed after the completion of quarter final second legs. A new UCL champion is set to be crowned in UCL 2021 as after Bayern Munich’s elimination from the competition.
Paris will face Manchester City and Real Madrid will take on Chelsea in this season’s UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

The Spanish Giants Real Madrid have qualified for the semi-finals of the Champions League for the 30th time. They have progressed in 11 of their 12 two-legged knockout ties in the Champions League under their coach Zinedine Zidane. Their only elimination came against Manchester City in last season’s last 16. UCL 2021 could be their golden chance to get back on track.
Manchester City ended their quarter final curse in this season. Two English clubs (Chelsea and Manchester City) will appear in the semi-finals for the second time in the last three campaigns. Liverpool and Spurs appeared in 2018-19 season Pep Guardiola is the fourth manager to reach the Champions League semi-finals in charge of three different teams. The three other are Jose Mourinho (four teams), Carlo Ancelotti and Louis van Gaal. UCL 2021 could be their first Champions League trophy.
Chelsea were ninth in the Premier League when new coach Tuchel arrived in January and then he has guided them to within a point of the top four, the FA Cup semi-finals and now into a Champions League semi-final. They are considered as underdogs in UCL 2021.
Paris Saint-Germain knocked champions Bayern Munich out of the Champions League after a 1-0 win for the Bundesliga side was not enough to beat the French side onaggregate. The French champions progressed to the semi-finals on away goals. Pochettino’s side is playing cleverly on the counter-attack with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria causing all sorts of problems out wide. After losing in the finals last year, they must be hoping to win UCL 2021.
