After a hectic month of club football, international matches are scheduled in the first two weeks of October. It is fun to watch our favorite footballers playing for their national team. However, football fans are confused because attacking player Dybala is not playing for Argentina. The fans want to know the reason as to why Dybala is not playing in WC Qualifiers. See what happened to Paulo Dybala.

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has been ruled out of Argentina’s squad for FIFA World Cup qualifiers due to injury. His injury came in the match against Sampdoria. Dybala is unlucky as he sustained the injury just before the qualifiers.

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni included Paulo Dybala in the initial Argentina squad for  World Cup 2022 qualifiers but due to his injury he was removed from the list. Dybala was called up to the Argentina WC qualifiers squad for the first time in over two years. Argentina are scheduled to play qualifiers against Paraguay (away), Uruguay and Peru (both home) from Oct. 8-15.

In the match against Sampdoria, Dybala scored the opening goal for Juventus and the fixture resulted in a 3-2 victory in Turin. However, Dybala left the pitch in tears when he had to be substituted due to a muscular problem just 10 minutes after scoring the opener.  He accidently hurt the back of his thigh after he landed in an awkward position from a challenge. Dejan Kulusevski came in place of him.

Paulo Dybala was broken down in tears on the pitch and his team-mates consoled him as he was going off the pitch. It was a heavy blow for Allegri because in that same match, Alvaro Morata was also injured. These two injuries meant that Juventus were without their regular strikers.
